The presentation of the 7/8-seater full-fledged utilitarian off-road vehicle KIA Telluride, adapted for comfortable travel, including for overcoming off-road, took place at the beginning of 2019. at the Detroit Auto Show. Designers have removed chrome decorative elements from the exterior, thus giving the SUV a more austere and conservative style.

The novelty is built on an identical modular platform as the Hyundai Palisade. For this reason, the car gets a similar layout. A V-shaped 6-cylinder 3.8L engine is installed under the hood. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The suspension of the novelty is completely independent. A multi-link design with springs (no pneumatics) is installed at the back, and classic MacPherson struts are installed in the front.
