Russian Lexus car prices will remain at the level of 2019

After raising the recycling rate, many predicted a rise in Lexus car prices. However, the cost will not grow: it will remain at the level of December 2019. This was reported by representatives of the Russian office of the automaker.

Recall that the Russian government decided to increase the recycling fee. For example, for passenger models with an engine capacity of 1-2 liters, the rate increased by 112%. Most of all, cars with an engine over 3,5 liters “suffered”. In this segment, the rate increased by 145%. Such a large increase is a consequence of the increase in the cost of scrap collection relative to the base rate for cars. Lexus is a company known for its loyal attitude towards fans of its cars. The manufacturer decided to donate revenue in order to keep the cost at the level of 2019. For example, the popular RX crossover, GX and LX SUVs, the flagship LS sedan and the LC coupe will remain the same price. The cost will remain unchanged for cars of all trim levels.

Note that some cars will rise in price: for example, Lexus UX, NX, ES. The reason for the price increase is not the increase in the rate of utilization collection, but the equipment of models with new multimedia systems. Lexus has promised that they will develop favorable conditions for the purchase of new products.
