The new generation of LAND ROVER DEFENDER has received a new version with a plug-in hybrid drive system that promises to make the model even more attractive to consumers.

The first of its kind hybrid Defender, the Defender P400e, is the most powerful and efficient modification of the model, promising a maximum output of 404 horsepower (two-liter, four-cylinder combustion engine and 143 horsepower electric motor), the ability to accelerate from scratch. to 100 km / h in 5,6 seconds, a top speed of 209 km / h and a free range in pure electric mode, including off-road mode, of 43 km. The battery built into the new Land Rover hybrid has a capacity of 19,2 kWh.

In parallel with the launch of the new Defender rechargeable hybrid version, the company is developing a range with an Ingenium in-line six-cylinder diesel engine, X-Dynamic performance characteristics for Defender 90 and 110 and a new version of Defender Hard Top with payloads of up to 800 kg. carrying capacity up to 2059 liters and the ability to transport three people in the first row of seats.
