New from DAF: this time an electric truck
DAF began producing electric trucks. New items are already undergoing extensive testing at global logistics companies. InsideEvs reports that the electric truck series is limited.
According to information from the publication, the automaker handed over six new trucks to the logistics. In total, cars drove into 150 thousand kilometers. The vehicle that was used most actively "rolled" 30 thousand kilometers.
Electric trucks are equipped with 170 kWh batteries. The battery provides a range of 100 km.
The manufacturer’s representative said the following: “The 150 thousand kilometers our cars drove is a tremendous distance in the context of vehicle testing. The information collected gives us an idea of the positive aspects and aspects that need to be improved. This is a great experience that we use for the benefit of motorists. " 
The year of testing electric trucks is over. The next stage is the first sales. Debut trucks will appear on the markets of Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and the land of North Rhine-Westphalia.
DAF electric trucks are pretty good in many ways, but a range of just 100 km means they must be used very carefully.
The manufacturer has not yet announced the price of the new product.
