SUBARU company recalls 42 thousand cars from Russia

Due to the presence of a serious defect, the manufacturer SUBARU recalls 42 thousand cars from Russia. The decision applies to the Outback, Forester, Tribeca, Impreza, Legacy and WRX models. Cars produced between 2005 and 2011 are recalled.

This decision was made because these vehicles were equipped with Takata airbags. Some of them explode. At the same time, a large number of miniature metal parts are scattered around the cabin. The cause of the explosions is a malfunction of the gas generator.

The recalled vehicles will have a free gas generator replacement. Owners need to hand over the car to a company representative and pick it up after repairs.
