KarPervert - one of the co-hosts of Fully Charged - tested the Honda e, Honda's B-segment electric vehicle. He liked its looks, liked the interior, could forgive a small trunk, but didn't fully understand value for money. and range.

The Honda e is designed for city driving. CarPervert admired the car's proportions, design and turning circle, which the manufacturer claims is 4,3 meters.

Let's make a reservation right away that we do not fully trust the last value: parking spaces in Spain are the smallest in Europe and their length is about 4,5 meters. If we look at the outer wheel of the car, we can see that it is about 2/3 of the parking space and about 3/4 of the length outside. A similar impression can be obtained from another dimension: turning radius Honda e it looks 3,5 times wider than the car.

But back to the impressions of the YouTuber. CarPervert talks about the interior with obvious tenderness. The five displays (plus the rear view mirror) are dedicated to providing basic information about the car and entertainment: the outer two are the image from the mirrors, while driving we find the screen with meters and in the middle and on the right we have two 12,3-inch multi-functional screens:

The only mirror in the car is the rear-view mirror, but it also turns into a screen in the normal configuration, which displays the image from the camera located at the rear of the car. However, there is plenty of headroom in the cabin. Trunk volume Honda e it's simple 171 liters. And in fact: the floor is high, and there is little space - especially when you consider that the shelf is lowered along with the hatch.

According to YouTuber, the car is weaker than the competition, but in the future it may be equipped with larger engines (now: 100 or 113 kW, 315 Nm of torque). The suspension is not stiff but comes across as prepared for a slightly sportier ride.

Car offers 204 WLTP range units on 17-inch disks and 220 units on 16-inch wheels. In terms of real values, we get 174-188 kilometers per charge [preliminary calculations www.elektrowoz.pl]. The car sometimes shows a range of more than 180 kilometers, but on a route less than 40 kilometers long. real range the on-board computer reports only 159 kilometers (= 124 / 0,78):

To what extent these values ​​reflect the real capabilities of the car, it is difficult to say. On the one hand, the races took place around the city, which means at lower speeds. On the other hand: the weather was inclement, with gusts of wind, which affected energy consumption (in the photo below, more than 40 kWh / 100 km!).

Unfortunately, youtuber missed the opportunity to tackle this topic, so all we have to do is count. And they show that the range of the Honda e with the larger battery is lower than that of the Nissan Leaf 30kWh – one segment longer car:

Summation

CarPervert emphasized the design and the positive impression of contact with the interior. A clear disadvantage was only the volume of the luggage compartment. We had a slight feeling that we were dealing with a luxury toy for city driving that was made for Honda to have on hand - but it was made in such a way that so as not to spoil the sale of internal combustion vehicles, especially the Honda Jazz.

Honda e price in Poland nothing is known yet, in the West the car is more expensive than the CR-V Hybrid. Our calculations show that the car will cost PLN 144, although surcharges could bring this amount down to about PLN 139 XNUMX. It is unlikely to be cheap:
