In the summer of 2017, the new Zotye T700 crossover from the Chinese automaker entered the automotive market. The car is completely identical to the concept car, which was presented two years earlier at the Shanghai Auto Show. Despite the fact that the car cannot be called an exact copy of any particular model, it cannot be called an individual development of the manufacturer either. The model borrowed most of the design elements and layout from other global brands.

Two turbocharged petrol power units are offered for the 700 Zotye T2017. Their volume is 1.8 and 2.0 liters. The first power unit relies on a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed robot. The second internal combustion engine works only in conjunction with a robotic gearbox. The novelty is available in two interior versions. The crossover can be designed for 5 or 7 seats. The additional two seats use some of the space allocated for the luggage compartment.
