The new front-wheel drive crossover Zotye SR9, sales of which started in the home market at the end of 2016. The model entered other markets in 2017. Visually and in terms of equipment, the car is a copy of the premium Macan SUV from Porsche. The only difference from the German cousin is a slightly revised grille, tapered and elongated head optics, and other exhaust pipes.

TECH SPECS:
Under the hood of the Zotye SR9 2017, an uncontested two-liter turbocharged engine is installed. The power unit was developed with the participation of Mitsubishi. The engine is aggregated with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed robotized preselective transmission. The model is based on a fully independent suspension bogie (MacPherson struts in front and a multi-link design in the back). The torque is transmitted exclusively to the front axle.

EQUIPMENT
In addition to the external similarity of the Chinese SUV with its German counterpart, the interior of the novelty almost repeats the interior of the Macan. The exception is the quality of the interior upholstery, as well as the presence of some electronics. Despite this, the Chinese crossover is equipped quite well. The multimedia complex is equipped with a 9-inch touch screen. The roof has a panoramic sunroof, a digital version is installed instead of the dashboard, and video cameras are installed around the perimeter of the car.
