Sign 6.9.1. Advance direction sign

Directions of movement to the settlements and other objects indicated on the sign.

Signs may contain images of sign 6.14.1 "Number assigned to the road", symbols of the highway, airport, sports and other (generally accepted) pictograms (semantic images).

On the sign 6.9.1, images of other signs may be applied, informing about the peculiarities of the movement.

Sign 6.9.1 is also used to indicate bypassing road sections on which one of the prohibition signs is installed:

3.11 Weight limitation;

3.12 Limiting the axle load;

3.13 Height limitation;

3.14 Width limitation;

3.15 Length Limitations.

Remember the following:

1. At the bottom of the sign, the distance (900 m, 300 m, 150 m, 50 m) from the place where the sign is installed to the first intersection or the beginning of the stop lane is indicated.

2. A green or blue background on a sign installed outside a settlement means that movement to the indicated settlement or object will be carried out, respectively, along a motorway (green), another road (blue).

3. A green or blue background on a sign installed in a settlement means that movement to the indicated settlement or object will be carried out, respectively, along a motorway or other road. Signs with a white background are installed in settlements; a white background means that the specified object (s) are located in this settlement.
