A road or carriageway on which motor vehicles move across their entire width in one direction.

Features:

1. Sign validity area: up to sign 5.6 “One-way road end”.

2. Allowed directions: straight ahead, left, right, reverse is not prohibited, except for the places listed in clauses 8.11, 8.12 of the Rules.

3. In practice, it is necessary to remember that on roads with one-way traffic, stopping and parking are allowed not only on the right side of the road, but also on the left, in the direction of traffic, while on such a road there must be at least two lanes for traffic.

Trucks with a maximum permitted mass of more than 3,5 tonnes are allowed to stop on the left side of the road only for loading and unloading cargo.

4. In cases where there is no horizontal markings dividing the carriageway into the number of lanes for traffic, drivers must mentally divide its width by the number of lanes for the movement of those vehicles that the driver is driving. width for unhindered movement of the vehicle.
