Sign 5.14. Lane for route vehicles

A specially designated lane along which vehicles allowed to move in lanes for route vehicles move along the way with the general flow of vehicles.

Installed directly above one of the traffic lanes.

Features:

1. The sign applies to the strip above which it is located.

2. The effect of a sign placed to the right of the road applies to the right lane (the first to the right in the direction of travel).

3. On the road with a lane for route vehicles, marked with sign 5.14, it is prohibited to move and stop other vehicles on this lane. However, when turning to the right, drivers must change to the lane indicated by sign 5.14 and located at the right edge of the carriageway, if it is not separated from the rest of the carriageway by a continuous marking line.

It is allowed to drive on it when entering the road with a right turn and for picking up and disembarking passengers, subject to the conditions of paragraph 18.2 of the Rules.

Punishment for violation of the requirements of the mark:

Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation 12.17 h. 1.1 and 1.2 The movement of vehicles in the lane for route vehicles or stopping in the specified lane in violation of the Traffic Rules

- a fine of 1500 rubles. (for Moscow and St. Petersburg - 3000 rubles)
