The X-raid team from Trebur in Hesse started the season with a bang. Together with his new co-driver Edouard Boulanger, Dakar record holder Stefan Peteransel won the Baja Poland in Mini ALL4 Racing.

This event was the first race in the FIA Cross Country Bach World Cup after a seven-month hiatus at the Crown. For X-raid, this was a successful resumption of participation - in addition to winning, the team managed to win four of the seven special stages.

Krzysztof Holowczyc and Lukasz Kurzia finished the home rally with Mini John Cooper Works in seventh place. Michal Maluszynski and Julita Maluszynski also achieved excellent results in the Mini JCW rally, with the Polish couple starting under their own license taking third place.

The third special stage summed up the victory. Heavy rains flooded the track, many participants had to face conditions and technical problems. Stefan Peteransel was the best in the situation and gave his best.

Then the fast French were in the lead in the general classification. As in Golovchitsa, which led to this stage, there were problems with the generator due to moisture, lost a lot of time and came out only to seventh place in the general classification.

“I am very pleased with this victory. The conditions were extremely difficult - a lot of water and mud. I saw a lot of riders who got into trouble on the track because of them. We were very careful, but it was not easy for us,” said Stefan Peterhansel in the final.
