New Time: Fiat is preparing a rival for Creta, while Jeep is working on an SUV
Photos of new products from the FCA concern were uploaded to the Internet. According to unofficial data, cars will go on sale next year, but the presentation should be expected sooner.
Fiat's plans to release a budget crossover became known in the summer of 2019. Information about Jeep's desire to start production of new items in the SUV segment appeared even earlier. So the only news is the announced dates for the appearance of new products on the market. In addition, the photographs that appeared on the network attracted the attention of motorists.
These are spy shots that are not of high quality, but give some idea of the new products. Photos were taken in Brazil. This is the first time that cars have appeared on ordinary roads. 
The Fiat novelty is equipped with a “native” SUV platform, since production of the model began before the start of cooperation with PSA. In this parameter, the car will be similar to the Fiat Argo, which is manufactured at a factory in Brazil. Note that most other automaker models will be equipped with PSA's CMP and EMP2 platforms.
Most likely, the new crossover will receive a 1.0 Firefly engine with 120-130 hp. There is no information yet on what kind of drive the model will have. In the segment, the car will compete with Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Creta and Volkswagen Nivus. 
Now about the new from Jeep. It was previously believed that a modified three-row car from the manufacturer will be a modified Compass. Later it became known that a completely new model will be released. Common with Compass will be only the Small Wide 4 × 4 platform. The novelty will have its own steering gear and suspension. Most likely, the car will receive turbocharged 2.0 MultiJet engines and 1.3 Firefly.
