In short: Adria Coral 2.3 (95 kW) 35 LS 670 SL

Despite the shrinking market, Adria is doing well. Thanks to the matrix and the revolutionary bed that falls from the ceiling at the touch of a button, they receive the highest praise for a bid and, of course, most importantly, impress users. Coral filling the gap between living quarters in vans and the largest models has a daunting task as it must bring the two worlds together in a sweet spot. Three trim levels are available: Basic Axess, Medium Plus and the highest with the Supreme designation.

It is based on the Fiat Ducat chassis and is therefore equipped with a range of proven Fiat JTD turbodiesels (2,0, 2,3 and 3,0 liters). We have tested an environment that fully handles all the stresses caused by the volume and weight of the RV. Thanks to its aerodynamic and sleek appearance and, especially, thanks to its good center of gravity, the Coral rides pleasantly, one might even say carefree. At 229 cm wide and 258 cm high, crosswind sensitivity is uncomplicated and much lower than the larger models.

The newcomer doesn't get too thirsty either, thanks to the thoughtful exterior design and use of modern materials. At moderate cruising speeds, fuel consumption drops below 10 litres, with some caution as low as nine litres. However, the combination of rural roads and motorways results in a slightly higher average of 10,5 liters. Any acceleration above 120 km / h quickly increases consumption by at least two liters per 100 kilometers.

The driver's seat is the same as in the Fiat Ducat, and everything behind it offers the comfort of a small apartment. During the summer months, a manual air conditioner cools the entire living space sufficiently to avoid heating problems while driving. The Coral is primarily designed for four passengers with a 3 + 1 bed layout, but in reality it is ideal for two or three passengers. The large bed (consisting of pillows: 200 x 80, 185 x 80 and 157 x 40 centimeters) across the entire width and with a well-thought-out wardrobe layout has an excellent mattress, so it is comfortable like a real double bed.

If there are several passengers in it, you will need to fold down the sleeping table and make another bed from the dining room. We spent less than a minute on this task. The interior is light, elegant and airy, leaving an air of modernity. We love how ingeniously they have furnished the wardrobes and drawers, because there is no shortage of space for clothes, dishes and food. The kitchen, which has a stove with three gas burners and an oven, a sink and a countertop, is very useful, so you can create a homey feel with your favorite meals even while traveling.

We were also impressed by the large luggage compartment, which can be called a pantry - you can get into it from the left and right. In winter, you can store all your skiing and sledding equipment here, and in summer, bikes for family bike trips.

As befits a modern living room, its use is almost limitless. With moderate fuel consumption and excellent interior placement, quality and aesthetics, the new Coral is on the right track to replicate the incredible success of its predecessors.
