Despite the fact that yesterday we seemed to think about his name, we have known Qashqai for six years. In the class of so-called crossovers, it fulfills its mission well. Now that a new model has emerged, he wants to convince those looking for the best deal.

The digital designation immediately after the designation of the motor usually praises the power of the motor. In that case, do you think this Qashqai can have 360 ​​"horses"? Um ... no. It's really a new 1,6-liter turbodiesel in the nose, but it should still satisfy you with "just" 130 "horsepower." Nevertheless, the engine is commendable. Responsiveness, torque, wide operating range, smooth ride… there is everything we lacked in the old 1.5 dCi engine.

Returning to the 360. This is a new equipment package that, in addition to the expected elements, includes a large panoramic roof, 18-inch wheels, partially leather seats, some decorative elements, a navigation device and a special camera system. which shows the car from a bird's eye view. At the technological level, the matter is not new, as we have already seen, but for cars of much higher classes. At first glance, it seems that we are moving the camera high above the car. In reality, however, cameras installed in the rear, nose and both side mirrors display a single image on the center screen of the multitasking system. However, we criticize this part of this set of devices because the screen is so small and the resolution is so low that it is very difficult to understand the displayed image.

Otherwise, the overall well-being at Qashqai is excellent. The interior materials are pleasant and the large skylight creates a sense of spaciousness. The rear seat does not move longitudinally, but still offers plenty of room for passengers. The downside is the hard-to-reach ISOFIX mattresses and the loose-fitting seat belt cover. The box under the armrest between the driver and the front passenger is large, but unfortunately, this is one of the few places for small things, if you do not pay attention to what may be nearby. There is a drawer in front of the gear lever, into which you can "swallow" only a pack of chewing gum. We were also worried about the occasional loud flow of fuel into the fuel tank.

Obviously, while the looks suggest off-road usability, this all-wheel-drive Qashqai is only good for jumping over high curbs. But the trip is not at all peppy. Although the chassis is quite elevated, even a fairly dynamic ride is not a problem; in fact, getting into turns is a pleasure. Of course, this is due to the fact that after a long time we had to test the car, shod in summer tires.

Qashqai has already convinced many, regardless of marketing ploy. However, retailers are trying to attract buyers to their side with a rich set of equipment and special prices. In the considered Qashqai, they do not promise immunity from aggressive flower beds, but in addition to everything, they almost fulfilled the desire of this buyer.
