The world premiere of a brand new and juicy Maserati took place last night as the foundation for the future super sports MC20.
Maserati commented that the MC20 is produced 100% in Modena and 100% in Italy, and this is the brand offering we have all come to expect. The car is distinguished by the highest aerodynamics, a three-liter, V-shaped, six-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 630 horsepower and a maximum torque of 730 Nm, an eight-speed robotic gearbox, the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 2,9 seconds, from 0 to 200 km / h in less than 8,8 seconds and a top speed exceeding 325 km / h.
The Maserati MC20 engine itself, which weighs less than 1500 kg, is extremely important for the brand, which, after more than 20 years of silence, presents its own developments in this area. The supercar configuration of the supercar is also created with the idea of producing both a coupe and a convertible version and integrating an all-electric drive system.
Production of the Maserati MC20, with base dimensions of 4669 mm long, 1965 mm wide and only 1221 mm high, is expected to begin before the end of this year, and applications for the car are already being accepted.
