But the SQ7 isn't just a cannonball heading for the horizon: it's a spacious, comfortable SUV that's very quiet when needed and can pamper you on long drives. Obviously, all this has a price.
Turning the car is more like one maxi wagon rather than a sports utility: it is low, sharp and angular. It's not exactly pretty or harmonious, but it expresses brute strength and masks its size well. Simply put: if you accelerate in fourth gear to 1.000 rpm, the SQ7 accelerates as if it had been fired from a giant slingshot. This is really impressive. At high revs, the two "big" turbines do all the dirty work.
8-speed automatic transmission then it is fast and punctual, but always very pleasant in action even in the sportiest mode. In fact, the Audi SQ7 is more than a real sports utility vehicle, it's a handy mileage grinder that stretches muscles and stretches when needed. unexpected dexterity. Thus, if Audi outperforms its cousin from Stuttgart in the comfort category (Audi and Porsche are becoming more and more close relatives), then in terms of sportiness it lags far behind.
