Skoda introduced a new crossover

The official premiere of the electric Skoda Enyaq will take place on September 1 in Prague. Skoda has released new teaser images of the Enyaq crossover, which will be the Czech brand's first all-electric SUV. The design sketches of the car show the optics of the future model, which will be made in the style of Scala and Kamiq. According to the press service of the Czech brand, when developing the headlights and turn signals of the future model, the Skoda designers were again inspired by bohemian crystal.

The car will receive narrow LED lights with crystals and turn signals with a three-dimensional design. As for the exterior of the crossover as a whole, Skoda believes that it has "balanced dynamic proportions." In addition, the company says that the dimensions of the new model "will be different from the brand's previous SUVs." The air resistance coefficient of an electric vehicle will be 0,27. The volume of the luggage compartment is 585 liters.

Judging by the previously published images. Enyaq will get a "closed" grille, short overhangs, narrow headlights and small air intakes in the front bumper to cool the brakes. Inside, the car will be equipped with a digital instrument panel, two-spoke steering wheel and a 13-inch display for the multimedia system.

Skoda Enyaq will be based on the modular MEB architecture developed by Volkswagen specifically for the new generation of electric vehicles. The crossover will share the main nodes and nodes with the Volkswagen ID.4 coupe-crossover. The Enyaq will be available with rear wheel drive and dual transmission. The company has confirmed that the top version of the Enyaq will be able to travel about 500 kilometers on a single charge.
