A year after the presentation of the Skoda Karoq crossover, the start of the production of an off-road modification called Scout was announced. The presentation took place at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. There are not so many external differences between related models. The SUV has silver body kits and roof rails, 19-inch wheels and a couple of Scout lettering.

The engine range for the Skoda Karoq Scout 2018, which is capable of conquering off-road terrain of average difficulty, includes two power units. The first is a 1.5-liter petrol TSI, and the second is a two-liter diesel with identical power.
