Skoda Enyaq iV will receive a coupe version

The front of the car is the same as the regular Enyaq, but the rear has been redesigned. The Skoda Vision iV concept, which foreshadowed a serial electric car based on the Volkswagen MEB platform - Skoda Enyaq iV, had a coupe silhouette. But designers have made Skoda's first electric SUV with a more practical body. However, the idea of creating a "satellite" with a falling roof has not been lost. Such a prototype recently got into the lenses of photo spies. The design of the front of the car is the same as the regular Enyaq, but the rear has been redesigned.

It is known that the standard Enyaq iV will appear on the market in 2021 in many modifications (with a capacity of 148 to 306 hp and an autonomous range of 340 to 510 km).

Let's compare the profiles of the co-platforms: Enyaq GT, Volkswagen ID.4 Coupe (or GTX, exact name unknown), Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron and Cupra Tavascan.

If the Enyaq coupe goes into mass production, then it may get a prefix to the GT name, following the example of the Kodiaq GT crossover. There is a chance. After all, the same road tests show that the Volkswagen ID.4 electric crossover will have a coupe variant. And it has already been officially announced that the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron, similar to the coupe version of the regular electric Q4 e-tron, will hit the assembly line in 2021. The fate of another relative of these cars, the Cupra Tavascan crossover, remains unclear. This summer, Cupra boss Wayne Griffiths said, "We haven't made a final decision about development or production yet."
