Renault Scenic 1.9 dCi (96 kW) Adventure
The name is ambiguous, and even if Renault was spelled in between, it could be misunderstood. This is simply the most expensive version of the Renault Scénic Avantura model considering the engine, of course.
But even before Adventure: does Scénic seem like a successful combination of all the elements? shape, ease of use, safety, comfort, ergonomics, and so on, so that the owner easily forgets about a small insult to the owner (small outside rear-view mirrors, a fairly padded steering wheel, a switch for moving outside rear-view mirrors far ahead). If he has a 1-liter turbodiesel in his nose, it seems even more friendly: the engine is flexible, since even in the last (sixth) gear at a speed of 9 kilometers per hour, when the arrow of the engine speed shows a value of 50, it pulls. it's good that at a speed of 1.500 kilometers per hour, you can also start overtaking, if it is not very close. It is also very economical; when driving quietly, it may have less than seven liters of fuel for 60 kilometers, but much more than ten, they will never be needed.
So, adventure? If you don't expect too much, you will be pleasantly surprised. Note that it does not have all-wheel drive, but it has a chassis raised two centimeters, longer shock travels, a modified suspension, a less rigid stabilizer, and all together (including the ESP system) is also adapted for driving on less flat terrain. ... It absorbs bumps well, but does not tilt when cornering.
The better half said, "But it's a very positive car." Who knows how to interpret this, but it's true that its bright (Adventure-exclusive) cayenne orange body color, orange seat belts, orange seat stitching, etc. Leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear levers, and tiny orange lines on the center console are pleasing to the eye. Although these are small things, they can mean a lot to someone. The adventure is recognizable by its appearance - with modified bumpers, (with this engine) with 17-inch alloy wheels, with additional lining on the sills and fender edges, as well as with "reinforcements" of the bottom front and rear. Everything else is the same as the "classic" Scénic, including the equipment (which is here with a parking PDC in the back, with roof racks, automatic air conditioning, a rain sensor and an improved audio unit updated by Dynamique) and indoor stay. Here's what the wise say: Adventure can be as expensive as money. But when it comes to Scénica, everything is much more earthy. Very nice car!
