Renault Kangoo 1.5 dCi Privilege

How you buy a car depends, of course, mainly on you and your requirements and criteria, and of course on your financial capabilities. If you are among those looking for a family car for relatively little money, with considerable comfort, safety and plenty of space, we suggest one of the small multi-purpose vans.

Renault Kangoo 1.5 dCi Privilege

Among us, Renault Kangoo is one of the most popular in this class, which we liked thanks to its friendly appearance, spaciousness, affordable price and adaptability to the needs of young families. A slightly updated Kangoo (mask, hood, engine range) should become the spiritual successor to the legendary “Katrca”. It's different. First of all, we notice pleasant, slightly smiling headlights, a squarer than rounded body and a plucked interior.

Of course, this shape of the car means that a lot of luggage can be squeezed into it. In it you can easily ride a couple of bikes, a closet and the like. Basically, the trunk volume is 656 liters, and with the benches lowered (divided by a third), a whopping 2600 liters.

It doesn't skimp on passenger comfort, as the seats are comfortable both front and rear. Even those who are more passionate about basketball won't complain. The only thing that bothers me is the feel of the truck behind the flat steering wheel and the casually upholstered interior.

Hard plastic does not hide the fact that the car is also intended (or mainly) for fast delivery companies, plumbers, painters, etc., who know how to appreciate that they will not damage the interior in the slightest awkwardness. It is true, however, that the materials inside the car allow for quick and easy cleaning, which will be appreciated by anyone who carries up-and-coming toddlers.

In addition to the family orientation of the car, Renault could also take care of such trifles as deactivating the passenger airbag with a key. This competition also offers greater comfort in the car.

When it comes to engines, Kangoo is one of the best as it offers a wide range of engines. Of all the 1.5 dCi, the most interesting in terms of performance and suitability. It consumes a modest 6 liters of diesel fuel per 5 kilometers, and in terms of capacity it fully satisfies the needs of a family trip.

With 82 hp. under the hood, it delivers 185 Nm of torque and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 14 seconds. Sufficient for both a city trip and a family trip with a lot of luggage and five passengers. At the moment, we cannot imagine a more ideal engine in this car.

When the price was even nicer, we would venture to write that this is the ideal Kangoo, so for almost 3 million it is difficult to talk about the ideal ratio of the offered car and the price.
