Renault and Nissan will cooperate with UBER

Renault and Nissan have announced that the alliance has signed a memorandum of understanding with UBER, which provides for the electrification of consumer travel for the company to travel together in Europe.

The agreement includes the possibility of providing affordable electric vehicles to UBER partners, with the first decisive steps being taken in the UK, France, the Netherlands and Portugal.

The alliance noted that the new agreement is part of the UBER initiative, which provides for the full electrification of vehicles used by partners and. By 2025, 50% of UBER drivers in seven European capitals – Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Lisbon, London, Madrid and Paris – will be all-electric.

Among the electric vehicles that UBER partners will have easy access to will be the Renault ZOE and Nissan Leaf, and more offerings will be added to the portfolio.
