Test drive Renault Clio Limited: something special

At the beginning of June, sales of the limited edition Clio Limited, created especially for the Bulgarian market, began.

Creating a special series for a specific market based on a car model is a great way to best suit the tastes of customers in the respective country. This year, the French brand Renault has offered its Bulgarian customers a special limited edition of its small Clio model, which has a wide range of standard equipment, including a significant number of frequently ordered accessories in our country, offering the end customer a tangible price advantage compared to other well-known versions of this car. .

Special optics and rich equipment for the limited edition

Orders for the 70 limited units began in June, and in addition to the price advantage, customers can also take advantage of concessional leases with an interest rate of 2,99%. Clio Limited features custom gray exterior and interior details. Clio Limited builds on the Expression trim level, updating it with options such as tinted rear windows, high-gloss black lacquered side mirrors, side skirts and rear bumper trim, additional chrome trim, special 16-inch Passion aluminum wheels with black trim, fog lamps and front armrest. In addition, Clio Limited offers the Gray Cassiopeia trim package, which adds gray accents on the steering wheel, vents and door moldings, and the seats feature all-new Limited upholstery, unique to this model. The special character of the car is emphasized by the chrome trim "Limited" on the front fenders, and inside the limited edition they are recognizable by the branded internal sills at the front.

70 copies with three drive options

The Clio Limited can be ordered in three powertrain options, all with the same output of 90 hp. Customers have a choice between a 900cc three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. Cm (from BGN 27) and the well-known 690-liter turbodiesel with a five-speed manual or six-speed EDC dual-clutch transmission (from BGN 1,5 with a manual and BGN 30 with EDC). The test car was commissioned (at least in the opinion of this writer) with the best engine/transmission combination currently available for the Clio, the dCi 690 with a manual transmission. The transmission once again impresses with its polished travel, even power distribution, confident traction and extremely modest fuel consumption, and the standard five-speed manual transmission is very well tuned for its performance. In real conditions, the average fuel consumption of this modification is about five liters per hundred kilometers, and the dynamics are absolutely enough to travel all distances.

Small class model that you can go anywhere with

In fact, good adaptability to all conditions is the hallmark of the new Clio as a whole. The model demonstrates a safe and compliant driving behavior, the noise level in the cabin does not become too high even at high speeds on the highway, and the driving comfort is more than satisfactory. The space inside is absolutely designed for the comfortable travel of four adults with their luggage for the weekend.

Conclusion

Renault Clio Limited dCi 90

The special limited version of the Clio is a great opportunity for Renault to showcase the Clio in its best light - a practical and affordable small car with a strong personality that can easily be used for family use. The diesel engine version with manual transmission is characterized by excellent driving dynamics and surprisingly low fuel consumption.
