Extended test: Fiat 500L - "You need it, not a crossover"

From 18 years old until today I have had three (more or less old) vans, two caravans and a Golf of the XNUMX generation. Yes, I can say that I look at a car (and not a motorcycle) primarily as a useful means of transportation. So don't let addicts with different M, RS and GTI designations on their pets bother you that I will put a car that does not cause dizziness and hedgehogs in itself, quite high on the scale "I would do it." It didn’t seem particularly remarkable to me either, until I myself drove it for several days.

What do you really care about?

In fact, I'm not entirely sure what makes a good impression on this car. The form? Well, yes. While the front is still fun, the back looks like a sweat the aunt serves on the table with the comment that she really didn't do it today. Interior shape? Perhaps, but more than modern design and advanced infotainment systems, it is satisfied (a more appropriate verb than "impress") with its ease of use, flavored in Italian by a less precise mix of plastic and undefined flabby steering wheel feedback. ... Roominess? Oh, that's for sure! Five adults took us on a trip up the hills, each with their own backpack, and no one had to squeeze it between their knees. This is not a rule for this size and price range!

As if the 500L is fraught with real, unspoiled, almost cargo equipment. I forgive the aforementioned and some other mistakes, such as a gearbox that resists faster shifting.
