Improved control in wet conditions and reduced fuel consumption

Firestone understands that light truck owners or drivers need to be prepared for any transitions: frequent short trips, long-distance transport, deliveries and constant maneuvers day in and day out.

To navigate rough roads, they need tires that are fuel efficient, have good wet grip, and the durability they need to withstand heavy daily use. Firestone has developed the next generation Vanhawk 2 tires to help you get the job done on time and within owner's budget.

Reliable and flexible

In developing the Vanhawk 2 tires, the company retains the strength and durability of its Vanhawk predecessors - two of the reasons drivers return to them - vastly improved wet weather control and reduced fuel consumption.

The result is a tough, flexible light truck tire that delivers essential road safety no matter the conditions in which they are found.

Here's what Firestone engineers have done to improve the performance of Vanhawk 2 tires:

… The tread design has been upgraded to class “B” under the EU tire labeling system (EU labeling as class “A” is the highest, class “G” is the lowest) in the wet grip category.

… The tread and clutch have been modified to provide excellent tire stability (class “C” according to the EU tire labeling system) to reduce fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.

… More good news is that Vanhawk tyres' solid construction and long life are preserved. Thus, the new Vanhawk 2 will pass the test of heavy use and will perform at the level day in and day out.

The Firestone Vanhawk 2 tires are currently available in renowned tire shops in Europe in 20 sizes, with 2 more sizes available in the second half of the year.
