Opel with Movano electric car in 2021

Opel has announced that it will add another all-electric representative to its lightweight portfolio. This will be the new Movano, equipped with a 100% electric drive system, and its market debut next year.

“As such, from 2021 we will be offering an all-electric version of every vehicle in our lightweight portfolio,” said Michael Loescheler, CEO of Opel. “Electrification is extremely important in the van segment. With Combo, Vivaro and Movano, we will offer our customers the opportunity to drive in city centers with zero emissions in several customized options.”

Opel's latest all-electric offering on the market is the next-generation all-electric version of the Mokka. The electric car is equipped with an engine with a capacity of 136 horsepower and a torque of 260 Nm, offers operation in three main modes - Normal, Eco and Sport, as well as a top speed of 150 km / h.

The battery of the electric vehicle has a capacity of 50 kWh, which promises a free range of up to 322 kilometers. Thanks to the fast charging system (100 kW), the battery can be charged up to 80% in 30 minutes.
