During the last Geneva Motor Show 2018, Audi unveiled the eighth generation of the A6, the most technologically advanced of the saga. Now, weeks after the Swiss tournament, the signature of the Four Rings presents A6 Until 2018, a family variant of the German sedan with a carrying capacity of up to 1.680 liters.

More refined look, more muscular look

La new Audi A6 Avant It is 4,94 meters long, 1,89 meters wide and 1,47 meters high. Therefore, it is slightly wider and taller than the previous version. Aesthetically, it reflects the stylistic innovations of the five-door version with a large radiator grille, clever headlights and muscular aluminum and steel body lines. But the biggest aesthetic innovations are found at the rear, where the last very sloping strut gives it a powerful look. The trunk has a load capacity of 565 liters (like the previous version) with a loading surface of 1,05 meters and the ability to recline the rear seat backs in a ratio of 40:20:40.

Engines

Like the sedan, the engine range new A6 Avant will benefit from new mild hybrid technology (MHEV) with a 48-volt system for V6 engines and a 12-volt system for four cylinders. Under the bonnet, the engines are the same as the A6: a 3.0 TFSI petrol engine with 340 hp. and three diesels: 3.0 or 286 hp. 231 TDI vs 2.0 hp 204 TDI.
