New Stratos will be presented at Salon Privé

Manifattura Automobili Torino (MAT) will take advantage of the Salon Privé, which will be held at Blenheim Palace from September 23 to 25, to present the latest version of the limited edition New Stratos.

Founded in 2014 by Paolo Garella and his son Ricardo, Manifattura Automobili Torino has since been involved in the creation and development of exotic models such as the P4 / 5 Competizione from Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus and its SCG003C and S models, Apollo Intensa Emozione or Aspark hypercar.

But in recent months, MAT has also hit the news with the new Stratos, which weighs 1247 kg, built on a Ferrari F430 chassis (a chassis with a wheelbase 20 cm shorter and equipped with a protective frame). Car body made of carbon fiber. It has a 4, 3 liter V8 engine producing 540 hp. and 520 Nm and is combined with a manual gearbox.

The body of this lovely New Stratos inherits from Lancia's 1970s Stratos, which stood out in the World Rally Championship between 1974 and 1976 with drivers like Jean-Claude Andrew, Bernard Darnish, Bjorn Waldegard or Mark Allen.

MAT will introduce New Stratos in the UK for the first time during a UK event and intends to attract new customers who want to buy a sports car that can reach a top speed of 273 km / h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3,3 seconds.

The new Stratos, limited to 25 units, costs $ 617 (price does not include the Ferrari F000 chassis).
