New Skoda Octavia RS is ready to fly

The new Skoda Octavia RS can now be ordered in the Federal Republic. Due to the reduced VAT rate of 16 percent, prices start at 38 euros, the station wagon version starts at 543 euros.

The compact sports car will be available on the market with a 2.0 TSI turbocharged petrol engine with 180 kW / 245 hp. and a 7-speed dual-clutch direct derailleur (DSG) transmission.

This allows the sedan and station wagon variants to accelerate from 100 to 6,7 km / h in 370 seconds and develop a maximum torque of 250 Nm. The maximum speed is electronically limited to XNUMX km / h.

In addition, Skoda offers the Octavia RS as a special “First Edition” model. The name speaks for itself because it is delivered to the buyer first. With the same engine and the same prices as the production model, the special model is now equipped with the Columbus infotainment system from the factory.
