The new unit with a working volume of 999 cubic centimeters has a capacity of 100 horsepower, which is a tangible advantage over its predecessor at 90 hp. As an alternative to the standard five-speed manual transmission, customers can order a continuously variable transmission type CVT, which is much better suited to the Micra's urban character.

Energetic drive

The liter engine turned out to be quite cheerful. Thanks to this, the car easily picks up speed and pulls too well due to its modest working volume.

The CVT transmission is well adapted to the parameters of the engine and maintains a pleasantly low speed with moderate driving style, which, in turn, ensures a calm and fairly quiet movement in city traffic. With a more serious boost, the box largely compensates for such structural characteristics as an unnatural increase in engine noise and "rubber" acceleration. In fact, the Micra 1.0 IG-T XTronic seems almost dynamic in the city.
