OPINIONS: Nissan Leaf 2 or Hyundai Ioniq Electric – what to choose? [HIGH]

Fanpage EVElectricvehicles tested Hyundai Ioniq Electric alongside Nissan Leaf (2018). The author of the list would have chosen the Hyundai Ioniq Electric, although he liked the Leaf 2 for many reasons. Here are the main advantages and disadvantages of both cars.

Hyundai Ioniq Electric vs Nissan Leaf 2 – which one to choose?

The Hyundai Ioniq Electric is described as a more technologically advanced vehicle that provides the driver with a wealth of information with the ability to easily switch driving modes. Another advantage is the record low energy consumption and, in our opinion, a huge advantage when driving on motorways and roads - the ability to completely turn off the recovery and drive "in neutral".

The Nissan Leaf 2, in turn, received praise for its high power, comfortable seats, large trunk, e-Pedal system (control only with the accelerator, without pressing the brake) and a semi-autonomous driving assistant called ProPilot (only N-Connecta and Tekna).

However, while the Ioniqu's shortcomings were small (for example, the lack of LED front lights), the Leaf was blamed for a lot: steering wheel adjustment in only one plane, large turning radius, high energy consumption, inadequate armrest, rapid gate, i.e. the problem with fast charging. after a long trip and a few quick charges.

The author of the list ("ELECTRIC") has so far driven a Nissan Leaf I.
