At the end of 2016, the first generation of the MG GS crossover underwent a slight facelift. The novelty went on sale in 2017. the car received a more solid exterior design. The most notable update is the different shape of the bumpers, which now have LED DRLs. The false grille has been slightly revised.

For the homologation model of the MG GS 2017 crossover, two types of motor are relied on. Their volume is 1.5 and 2.0 liters. Both are equipped with a turbocharger. They are paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-position dual-clutch robot. The basic one is front-wheel drive, but when a multi-plate clutch is installed, torque also goes to the rear wheels when the front wheels slip.

EQUIPMENT

The interior of the updated crossover has better materials for finishing and more efficient panel assembly. The shape of the steering wheel has changed slightly. The center console houses an 8.0-inch touch screen for the on-board computer and multimedia complex. Compared to the pre-styling model, the package of options has been expanded. It includes airbags (front and sides) and electronic safety equipment.
