As part of the auto show held in Shanghai in the spring of 2013, a presentation of the restyling of the front-wheel drive hatchback MG 3 took place. Despite the great similarity with the pre-styling version, the manufacturer claims that this is a completely new model. The designers gave the hatchback a sportier look. The front part of the car received more aggression (traced in the L-shaped LED DRLs). A rear wing is installed on the tailgate, and a small square exhaust pipe is located in the rear bumper.

TECH SPECS:

On the European market, the new product is offered with one engine modification. This is a 1.5-liter petrol four from the VTi-TECH family. The motor is aggregated with a 6-speed manual transmission. In other markets, the vehicle is offered in a different configuration. Despite its sporty appearance, the car has a standard chassis and suspension.

EQUIPMENT

Unlike the technical update, the 3 MG 2013's equipment list is much better. Already in the database there are two airbags, the ABS and EBD system, standard audio preparation for 4 speakers, air conditioning and a trip computer. In the wheel arches, stampings are installed at 14 inches, but in the top versions the car can be equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels.
