Mercedes-AMG G 63 became a shell
The German tuning studio PerformMaster has unveiled its program for a comprehensive redesign of the Mercedes-AMG 63 SUV. Thanks to this, the car can be accelerated to match some supercars.
The G 63 is powered by a 4,0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 585 hp. and 850 Nm of torque. This allows the heavy SUV to accelerate from standstill to 100 km / h in 4,5 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 220 km / h, and with the optional AMG Driver package, you can accelerate to 240 km / h.
Specialists from the tuning studio installed more efficient turbochargers, and also reconfigured the electronic engine control unit. Thus, they received 805 hp. and 1020 Nm, which turns the SUV into a real shell. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 4,0 seconds, top speed is 260 km / h.
Modifications include the installation of aerodynamic carbon elements, including extended fenders, modified bumpers with front and rear diffusers, and an additional spoiler on the trunk.
The first 8 clients of the studio who bought a car will have the opportunity to meet the driver of the safety car in the Formula 1 championship - Bernd Maylander. He will give them some tips on how to drive the car, even get the opportunity to drive with a specialist in a Mercedes-AMG GT4.
