Mazda MX-30 - real 90 and 120 km / h range. Very poor, but excellent equipment and price [Nyland test]

Bjorn Nyland tested the actual range of the Mazda MX-30 on winter tires in conditions similar to winter ones (1-3 degrees Celsius). The car was not shiny, but Nyland liked the equipment and the good price of the model. He concluded that the Mazda MX-30 could be an interesting addition to city driving.

In the Bjorn Nyland test, a fully charged car traveled 170 kilometers on battery power. However, it should be noted that the weather was bad, it was cold, damp and it was raining, which negatively affected the range.

already at a speed of 90 km / h the car came off rather badly, the test had to be completed earlier than usual in order to charge the battery. The average energy consumption was 18,9 kWh / 100 km (189 Wh / km), 94 km were covered by 149,6% of batteries. This means that the car will run on a full battery. 159 km.

Since electric vehicles typically lose a range of 1 / 5-1 / 4 at this temperature, one can try to estimate that in the summer, at an optimal temperature and quiet driving on the Nyland, the range of the Mazda MX-30 will be 199-212 kilometers. which is really a very good result. and corresponds to the result obtained using the WLTP procedure.

At a speed of 120 km / h and unfavorable aura, Mazda MX-30 was able to drive through 99,8 kilometer using 91 percent energy. This means that a car with a fully charged battery can cover less than 110 km. average energy consumption at the rate of 27,4 kWh / 100 km (274 Wh / km). Based on this, we will quickly calculate that the usable battery capacity available to the driver is only 30 kWhTherefore, starting today, the Mazda MX-30 will be described as having a 30 (35,5) kWh battery.

During the test, Nyland drew attention to the good soundproofing of the cabin and a high-quality audio system. An important addition can also be the HUD, which is included in the standard equipment package, also in Poland.
