Maserati showed a new supercar

The Masserati company has published the first official photos of the MC12 receiver from 2004-2005. The body of the MC20 is made of aluminum and composite materials, thanks to which the weight is only 1470 kg.

One of the most distinctive features of the new Italian supercar is the butterfly wings opening up. The interior is trimmed with carbon fiber and Alcantara details.

On the dashboard you can see the digital dashboard and the central monitor of the multimedia system. Transmission control is carried out by buttons, and in the central tunnel there is a digital dial for selecting the operating modes.

Behind the driver is a 3,0-liter V6 with a capacity of 630 hp. and maximum torque of 730 Nm in combination with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Acceleration to 100 is 2,9 seconds, and to 200 - in 8. The maximum speed is 325 km / h.

Also, the MC20 will receive an electrical modification, which will allow it to “glue a hundred” in less than 2,8 seconds. The battery is enough for a trip of 380 km.

The official premiere of Masserati MC20 will take place on October 9.
