Eminem's favorite cars

Two things are necessary for Eminem when he buys a new car - he must drive a gallon of gas for 8 miles and have satellite navigation so that the star does not get lost. In addition, there is another important requirement - speed.

Cadillac Escalade (2008)

We start with one of the favorite cars of many American celebrities - the Cadillac Escalade. Eminem is often used for daily driving, with a V8 engine and a 10 speed automatic transmission. As in a real star, the interior of the car is as luxurious as possible.

Porsche 996 Turbo (1999)

Eminem released the singles "The Slim Shady" in February 1999, and it went platinum by the end of the same year. Thus, the rapper could afford a new home for his mother further than the proverbial 8 Mile Road in Detroit, as well as the purchase of a new Porsche 911 (version 996).

It is the first water-cooled Carrera with forced induction, and its 3,6-liter 6-cylinder engine from the 911 GT1 won the "24 Hours of Le Mans" in 1988 and developed 420 horsepower. 

Ferrari 575M Maranello (2003)

In the late 1990s, Ferrari is planning a renaissance in motorsport with Michael Schumacher, while at the same time Luca Di Montemolo wants to return to the V12-powered Grand Tourer to remind him of the 275 GTB.

This is how the 550 Maranello, designed by the Pininfarina studio, is born. Eminem's car has increased from 485 to 515 horsepower and the M in 575 M means modified. The two “Ms” in the name must refer to the rapper's initials.

Porsche Carrera GT (2004)

To prove that he is not afraid of powerful supercars, the rapper also buys the famous Porsche Carrera GT. This 5,7-liter V10 engine was first shown as a concept at the Paris Motor Shows in 2000, but customers liked it so much that the company began producing it at its new Leipzig plant.

The power of this car is 611 horsepower and develops 200 km / h in 10,8 seconds. The top speed is 335 km / h, offering only a manual transmission.

Ford GT (2005)

Eminem's lyrics are meant to be controversial, and this has brought the rapper accusations of homophobia, sexual perversion, incitement to violence, and the like. However, Ford Motor Company did not appear to know what they were doing, and even paid the musician to use the Fusion sedan in the video for the 2005 song "Ass Like That."

Even after the first verdict, Ford called Eminem's manager and asked him to stop watching the video. The rapper nevertheless decided to improve relations with the company and ordered a GT40 supercar from a series dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the American manufacturer.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage (2006)

The Vantage, produced since 2005, is Aston Martin's lightest car in a long time and is aimed at Porsche 911 customers who love James Bond. The car is also pretty good looking, which explains Eminem's interest in it. But the main thing was the engine power of 385 horsepower.

Ferrari 430 Scuderia (2008)

Eminem definitely quickly became a Ferrari fan, but ignored the standard F430 and ordered a lighter and more powerful version of the Scuderia, which was designed with the help of Michael Schumacher. The average V8 engine develops 518 horsepower and the gearbox shifts gears in just 60 milliseconds.

Audi R8 Spyder (2011)

This car shows just how serious Eminen's collection is, although it looks slow compared to some of the other examples. Like Ford, the rapper found himself embroiled in Audi when he sued a German company for using his hit "Lose Yourself" in an A6 Avant ad without permission. Everything clears up, and the musician receives (it is not clear whether he paid or as compensation) a Spyder with a V10 engine.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (2011)

“I’m spinning like a boss in a Porsche 911 the same color as cranberry sauce,” Eminem rhymes in his song “Love Me.” His GT3 RS is white and has a 4,0-liter engine with 500 horsepower. This car is the latest evolution of the phenomenal 997 GT3 and proves that Slim Shady (one of the rapper's nicknames) really knows cars.

Ferrari 599 GTO

Another Ferrari for VIP customers only. A total of 599 units of the model were produced, 125 of which were sent to the United States. Even Lewis Hamilton bought a car like this and then resold it for double the money. The supercar is based on the 599XX track and is powered by a 670 hp V12 engine. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 3,3 seconds, the maximum speed is 335 km / h.

McLaren MP4-12C (2012)

After McLaren changed the game with F1 in the 1990s and then built the wonderful SLR with Mercedes, the British brand finally went their own way in supercars in 2010. And just 2 years later, the MP4-12C appeared, designed by Frank Stevenson, the creator of the Ferrari 430.

At the heart of the car is a carbon fiber monocoque inspired by Formula 1. The engine is a 3,8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. Eminem bought the car, but soon after, there were problems with the electrical system. After that, the rapper rarely takes her out of the garage.

Lamborghini Aventador (2014)

The "holy grail" in the hip-hop community is the Aventador. Without it, you can't prove you're an MVP, and that's exactly what Eminem is. Back in 2002, he put his predecessor Murciélago on the rap map by including it in his “Without Me” video. Twelve years later, he bought his own Lambo with 700 horses under the hood, for which he paid over $700. The car is so expensive that it has all the additional features and options offered by the manufacturer, it develops 000 km / h.

Porsche 911 GT2 RS (2019)

There was a break in which the superstar was not noticed buying new sports cars, but this clearly does not mean that his passion for them has passed. In 2019, Eminem got another Porsche 911, but this time in the fastest and most powerful version, the GT2 RS. Bentley Continental GT (2019)

After the rapper's latest acquisitions, another luxurious and very fast car has appeared, which is still different from those that were on the list before. Recently, Eminem has opted for his new Bentley Continental GT, which is powered by a V12 engine that develops 521 hp. and 680 Nm.
