Lamborghini SCV12: over 830 hp under the hood

Lamborghini Squadra Corse has completed the development program for the Lamborghini SCV12, a new hypercar equipped with the brand's most powerful naturally aspirated V12 engine.

Based on the experience gained by the Lamborghini Squadra Corse over the years in the GT category, the new car combines the V12 engine (developed by the Lamborghini Centro Stile). The power unit has a capacity of 830 hp. (but after some improvements, this limit increases). Aerodynamics are improved thanks to an updated body and a huge spoiler, borrowed from the GT3 models from the manufacturer from Sant'Agata Bolognese.

The hood of the hypercar has two air intakes and a central rib for directing the flow of incoming air located on its roof, and various aerodynamic elements (splitter, rear spoiler, diffuser) complement the unprecedented sophistication of a model built on a carbon chassis. By the way, the material from which the monocoque is made allowed to achieve an excellent ratio of weight and power.

The engine is paired with a six-speed sequential gearbox that transfers power only to the rear wheels, in which case the 20-inch magnesium wheels (19 inches in the front) are equipped with smooth Pirelli tires.

The limited edition Lamborghini SCV12 will be produced at the Lamborghini Squadra Corse factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese. Its official presentation is expected this summer.
