Chinese Rolls-Royce catches fire on the move

The Hongqi H9 super-luxury sedan, which went on sale just a month ago, burst into flames while driving, according to Chinese portal Autohome. The photographs from the scene show the consequences of the fire - the flames went out, but clouds of smoke came out from under the hood.

The causes of the accident have not yet been clarified. It is not clear whether the car caught fire or whether the fire was the result of a collision with another car. The sedan is marked with promotional stickers and appears to be owned by some Hongqi dealers.

The H9 is powered by a 2,0-liter four-cylinder engine with 252 hp. and a 3.0 liter V6 with 272 horsepower. The sedan has 2 + 2 seats. For passengers, tablets are provided, and the dashboard contains a 12,3-inch dashboard and a touch-sensitive multimedia screen of a similar size.
