The debut of the fourth generation of the KIA Sportage crossover took place at the Frankfurt Motor Show in late summer 2015, and the new product went on sale in 2016. The updated model has added a little in size and has changed in appearance. Also, the engineers managed to reduce the wind resistance coefficient (it became 0.2Cx less). Thanks to this, the noise in the cabin has slightly decreased.

TECH SPECS:
The list of engines for the 2016 KIA Sportage includes 1.6-liter gasoline internal combustion engines with different boost levels and two 1.7 and 2.0-liter diesel engines (there are also several boost options). The body rigidity of the new crossover has been increased by 40 percent, thereby improving the vehicle's passive safety.
