In 2016, the Jaguar lineup was expanded with the first crossover in the history of the company. The F-Pace is modeled after the C-X17 concept car shown earlier. Most of the exterior and interior elements migrated from the concept to the production car.

TECH SPECS:

The novelty is based on a platform with a fully independent suspension (front double wishbone with MacPherson struts, and multi-link rear). Depending on the equipment, the suspension can be equipped with adaptive dampers, which are electronically controlled. Also, buyers are offered an all-wheel drive modification. In this case, 50% of the torque is supplied to the front wheels when the rear wheels slip.

The range of engines for the crossover includes a 2.0-liter diesel internal combustion engine, a gasoline unit with an identical volume and a 3.0-liter gasoline V-six equipped with an electric turbocharger. The last unit has two types of boost. The engines are paired with an automatic transmission for 8 gears or 6-speed mechanics.
