Two years after the JAC S2 crossover entered the market, in 2017, the Chinese manufacturer released its compact counterpart with the Mini prefix. The Compactcross has received a number of visual and technical updates that make it different from its sister crossover. The model is based on the platform from the J2 subcompact hatchback. The novelty effectively stands out against the background of all models of the manufacturer with its striking design. Although the car looks more like a hatchback, a hint of off-road performance is given by a spare wheel in a plastic case attached to the rear door.
