Together with the next restyled version of the JAC iEV7 sedan in 2017, an upgraded model of the iEV7S electric crossover appeared on the market. The compact SUV is the successor to the JAC iEV6S model. In the exterior, the car received some elements by which you can distinguish between these two modifications. More updates are being observed in the vehicle's propulsion system.

Engineers have slightly modified the power plant of the crossover, thanks to which it was possible to increase the engine's performance. The electric motor is powered by a lithium-ion battery, which is 6 kWh more than the previous version (now 39 kWh).

According to the manufacturer, the crossover can cover a maximum of 280 kilometers on a single charge (versus 250 for the previous version). At a cruising speed of 60 km / h. this distance increases to 350 kilometers. It will take 1.5 hours to fully replenish the battery capacity from the fast charging module. Charging the machine from a household outlet will take about 7 hours.
