In the spring of 2018, the 5th generation of the full-size American GMC Sierra pickup truck. On the front, the radiator grille, head optics and hood with bumper have radically changed. In addition, the track has doors with a different design, redrawn fenders and a modified side. The 2018 model is built on a new platform, just like the sibling Chevrolet Silverado.

TECH SPECS:

For the updated GMC Sierra 2018 truck, several powertrain options are relied on. The list includes a 4-cylinder 2.7-liter turbo engine, as well as two upgraded naturally aspirated options for 5.3 and 6.2 liters V-shaped with 8 cylinders. These units are equipped with a DMF system that provides 17 cylinder modes and responds to engine loads.

The engine lineup for the new pickup also includes modifications that were used in the previous generation. They have a volume of 4.3 and 5.3 liters. Both are equipped with direct injection, thanks to which the electronics are able to turn off half of the cylinders at minimum ICE loads.
