Last but not least, the new Golf that has just hit the road proves this, and could already be described with words like everyday simplicity or uninteresting fashion. However, cars arriving from Wolfsburg cannot be judged by our eyes alone. Other senses must also be involved. And if you succeed, a car like this Touran can become very close to your heart.

You can already see that the assumptions are correct when you get behind the wheel. By the way, if, looking at this, you might think that this is just an emergency, you are wrong. It's just the way it is. And it will remain so. Therefore, it is easy to adjust and ergonomic. In order not to lose too many words. ...

There are other things about the Touran that are much more impressive: no doubt a spacious cabin, a comfortable seating position, lots of drawers, a powerful audio system with large buttons and a screen, a useful table on the backs of the two front seats, separate and quite flexible. seats in the second row and, finally, two additional seats stored in the boot floor.

It is true, and you read that right, there may be seven places in Turan as well. But let's be clear about something first. Although there are seven of them, this is not the kind of vehicle that could carry so many people every day. The rear seats are mostly emergency. This means that passengers under the age of ten will feel better there, and only occasionally.

More than the fact that the Touran can accommodate up to seven seats, but this is the job of engineers who are having the problem of "where with the extra seats?" “Perfectly decided.

The latter two can be recessed into the bottom of the boot when not needed, creating an elongated and, above all, completely flat surface. The ones in the second row allow you to move, fold and, just as important, shoot. At the same time, it is perhaps very gratifying that a strong man is not required at all to complete the latter task.

Unlike the larger and more popular limousine vans, the removal of seats in the Touran can also be done by women. However, the procedure is very simple: first you need to fold and tilt the seat, and then release it into the safety catch at the bottom. All that remains is the physical work, which is greatly simplified by the already mentioned relatively low weight of the seat and the additional handle designed for this task.

What then are the disadvantages of the Touran compared to the larger sedan vans? In fact, they are not, unless you are one of those who need a flat bottom even after removing the rear seats. The Touran simply cannot offer this due to the two recessed rear seats and legroom in the second row. However, it justifies itself with an excellent sitting position.

You will only know how well a driver sits if you have driven a little faster around a corner for the first time. It's like sitting in a perfectly normal car and not in a limousine van. However, it is true that the test Touran was equipped with a sporty version of the chassis, which allowed slight body tilts due to the slightly stiffer suspension.

But this, coupled with the most powerful 2-liter turbodiesel engine and six-speed manual transmission, is really something to think about. One hundred and forty "horsepower" is a lot even for a gasoline engine. As for the diesel, which also serves 0 Nm of torque. This, of course, clearly indicates that the push when accelerating out of the city is very strong. Just like final speed.

Therefore, it is not surprising if you accidentally notice that you are the fastest of all road users. But it's not just the highway. Even on a perfectly normal country road, this can happen to you quickly.

Yes, life with a Touran like this quickly becomes much easier. Problems with space, fuel consumption and laziness in the car as if in the blink of an eye. Only what applies to men in blue becomes a little more obvious.
