Although the FAW Xenia S80 is positioned as a front-wheel drive compact cross, visually, the model looks more like a minivan with an all-terrain vehicle. The car was unveiled at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show. Developing a novelty, the manufacturer took the Toyota Avanza as a basis, at least its platform. Off-road performance is emphasized by plastic body kits, roof rails and some stylistic elements of the body.
