The premium sub-brand HongQi continues to expand its range of vehicles to a wider audience (previously, all vehicles were developed exclusively for government circles). In 2019, another premium crossover FAW HongQi HS5 appeared. The exterior design is made in the style typical for this brand. This is a volumetric grille, volumetric bumpers and a red comb on the hood.

The car shares the same platform as the Mazda6, which allows the vehicle to be fitted with a fully independent suspension. Under the hood will be installed exclusively a 2.0-liter gasoline unit with a turbocharger. Although the model is front-wheel drive, the presence of a multi-plate clutch allows the rear axle to be connected if necessary (it works automatically when the front wheels begin to slip).

EQUIPMENT

The very first thing that catches your eye when you get into the salon is the similarity of the center console and dashboard with Mercedes models. The dashboard and multimedia complex screens are combined into one frameless module. Under it is the climate control unit (also with touch control). The list of trim levels includes: LED optics, keyless entry, an engine start button, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, audio preparation from Bose and other equipment.
