In 2016, the first generation FAW Besturn X80 received a restyled version. Compared to the previous version, the front end of the novelty acquired a predatory design, than the designers emphasized the dynamism of the updated crossover. The exterior changes made the car more similar to the Infiniti models. The same similarity is observed from the stern side.

TECH SPECS:
The FAW Besturn X80 2016 is based on the same platform that was developed for the Mazda6. It allows the use of a fully independent suspension. Disc brakes are installed on all wheels.
The range of motors includes two power units. The first is an atmospheric modification with a volume of 2.0 liters. The second is a turbocharged 1.8-liter version. The first is compatible with both manual and automatic 6-speed transmissions. For a turbo engine, only automatic transmission is required.
