Traffic vehicles with special signals

Drivers of operational vehicles, performing an urgent service assignment, may deviate from the requirements of sections 8 (except for signals from the traffic controller), 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 26, 27 and clause 28.1 of these Rules, provided turning on a blue or red flashing light and a special sound signal and ensuring road safety. If there is no need to further attract the attention of road users, the special sound signal can be turned off.
3.2
In the case of a vehicle approaching with a blue flashing light and (or) a special sound signal, drivers of other vehicles that may create an obstacle to movement are obliged to give way to it and ensure unhindered passage of the indicated vehicle (and the vehicles accompanied by it).
On vehicles moving in an escorted convoy, the dipped-beam headlamps must be switched on.
If flashing beacons of blue and red or red only are included on such a vehicle, drivers of other vehicles must stop at the right edge of the carriageway (on the right side of the road). On a road with a dividing lane, this requirement must be fulfilled by drivers of vehicles moving in the same direction.
3.3
If flashing beacons of blue and red or only red are turned on while escorting a convoy of vehicles on a vehicle moving in front of the convoy, the vehicle must be closed by the flashing lights with green or blue and green flashing lights, after which the restriction on the movement of other vehicles is lifted funds.
3.4
It is forbidden to overtake and get ahead of vehicles with flashing beacons of blue and red or only red and green or blue and green in color and the vehicles (columns) accompanied by them, as well as to move in adjacent lanes at the speed of the column or to occupy a place in the column.
3.5
When approaching a stationary vehicle with a blue flashing light and a special sound signal (or without a special sound signal turned on), standing on the side (near the carriageway) or on the carriageway, the driver must reduce the speed to 40 km / h and, if the traffic controller of the corresponding stop signal. You can continue driving only with the permission of the traffic controller.

Turning on an orange flashing light on vehicles with the identification mark "Children", on motor vehicles of the road maintenance service while working on the road, on large and heavy vehicles, on agricultural machinery, the width of which exceeds 2,6 m provides them with advantages in movement, and serves to attract attention and warn of danger. At the same time, drivers of vehicles of the road maintenance service during work on the road are allowed to deviate from the requirements of road signs (except for priority signs and signs 3.21, 3.22, 3.23), road markings, as well as paragraphs 11.2, 11.5, 11.6, 11.7, 11.8, 11.9, 11.10, 11.12, 11.13, subparagraphs "b", "c", "d" of paragraph 26.2 of these Rules, provided that road safety is ensured. Drivers of other vehicles must not interfere with their work.
